For the next release of #Conversations_im I’m switching the default for showing all messages, including sent ones, left aligned, to 'on' for all tablets.

Combine this with disabling 'Colorful chat bubbles' and this looks pretty clean and almost like a regular desktop app.

This post is also a reminder to existing tablet users that those two settings exist. Too bad there aren’t that many of you.

I despise marketing and sales people with a passion reserved for the most evil of people.

Their entire job is 'how can be lie and deceive people into buying things they don't need by using the worst kinds of psychological tools to induce things like FOMO and to make people believe that they're not cool if they don't have the latest shiny or follow the latest trends.

But I also turn my nose up at those who think status means having expensive stuff and that projecting a life of luxury will lead you into having that life.

because everyone who has money... didn't get that money through buying expensive things... they got it by exploiting the gullible who do.
