I am confident that I had these settings disabled in Firefox.
Else they are new, and defaulted on.
I make sure I keep this kind of thing turned off.
Either way, I saw an advert - a sponsored site - in Firefox today, and found these settings enabled.

@nigel i also think its important for people outside of any industry to have that cross-over? knowledge. otherwise all there will be is only google, ms, amazon etc.
in case of cars that approach might be a lost cause already, except you have access to pre computerized vehicles i guess.
